Job Summary

Support the National Transportation Lighting Systems group by advancing 2D/3D AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM structures and ensuring consistency across project types. Lead lighting design production through client handover, manage QA and deliverables, and establish project standards, templates, and libraries. Own BIM/Revit best practices, model setup, standards, families, and training for users, while coordinating with engineers, clients, and subcontractors across concurrent schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage all design production activities from preliminary design through client handover, including production planning and workflow coordination while maintaining budget and schedule.
•Maintain close contact with lead engineers, clients, engineering subcontractors, and other team members.
•Manage QA for all design document submittals and ensure uniformity and technical presentation of documents.
•Develop, document, and communicate BIM/Revit best practices, including model management and coordination with other disciplines.
•Provide training for beginner and continuing education users, and support lighting design including drawings, specifications, and quantity take-offs.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Minimum 11 years of relevant post-education experience working in Revit in a production, administrative, and/or support capacity; plus 7 years in the AEC industry, preferably in an MEP+L office.
•Completion of classes/programs relevant to AutoCAD, Revit, and the design of building systems.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and REVIT, with expert knowledge in Revit Family creation.
•Experience using Navisworks with its relation to Revit models, and strong verbal and written communication with strong organization.
