Job Summary

Perform risk-free counter transactions while maintaining service standards for a branch. Manage and process cash counter transactions accurately and swiftly, minimize customer wait time, and ensure zero cash differences through diligent reconciliation and reporting. Remain vigilant for fraud and risks, adhere to transaction limits and approval processes, and ensure proper custodianship of security items. Assist the CSM in branch activities and cross-sell MMC and other products.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage cash counter transactions for a branch, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with procedures.
•Reduce customer waiting time and serving time through efficient counter transactions.
•Maintain zero cash differences by carefully processing cash transactions and performing balancing and reconciliation.
•Stay vigilant to fraud and risks, and escalate irregular/suspicious transactions for guidance and approval.
•Assist the CSM during absence, implement process/policy changes from Head Office, ensure counter standards (e.g., mystery shoppers), and cross-sell products.

Key Requirements

•3-4 years of experience as a teller within the banking industry.
•In-depth knowledge of counter-related and dependent processes, with basic accounting and reporting knowledge.
•Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to handle pressure and work with attention to detail and numbers.
•Must process financial transactions accurately, vigilantly, and in line with procedures.
