Job Summary

Operate a commercial ready-mix concrete truck to safely transport and deliver concrete to construction sites. You’ll manage vehicle systems to mix, alter, and unload as needed, follow dispatch instructions, and maintain accurate delivery records and operator logs. The role includes customer interaction, monitoring gauges, performing daily inspections and minor repairs, and completing required paperwork in line with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a commercial motor vehicle (26,001+ GVWR) to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete.
•Operate vehicle systems to alter, mix, and unload as required; may use automated routing equipment.
•Deliver to construction sites safely, obey applicable laws, and follow dispatch instructions.
•Maintain logs, records, and delivery information in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations.
•Complete customer and delivery tasks such as collecting money, checking tickets, and reporting issues or necessary repairs to maintenance personnel.

Key Requirements

•Must have a CDL, Class A or B (Class B minimum).
•Operate a ready-mix concrete truck safely and follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher and complete delivery tickets and required records.
•Perform daily inspections of truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water) and handle minor field repairs.
•Be flexible with schedule/location changes and be willing to work weekends and extended hours.
