Job Summary

Lead the establishment and operation of a Project Management Office (PMO) for a large-scale infrastructure project in Japan, driving governance, controls, and reporting. Own project performance monitoring across schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables from pre-FID through delivery. Analyze plan-versus-actual variances, identify root causes, manage risks and mitigation actions, and facilitate stakeholder decision-making. Train and coach PMO members and teams to align execution with tailored project procedures.

•Establish and lead the PMO framework, governance structure, and project control processes.
•Implement and maintain project management procedures and standards across the project lifecycle.
•Monitor project performance, schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables against objectives.
•Analyze variances in planned vs. actual progress, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
•Facilitate governance activities and ensure timely, accurate project reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree (or above) in Project Management, Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
•Proven experience in Project Management, Contract Management, Engineering, or a combination of these areas.
•Strong understanding of project governance, project execution, and stakeholder management within complex projects.
•Ability to bridge global project management practices with traditional Japanese business and working styles.
•Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
