Job Summary

Fabricate pyrolysis equipment components for new R&D systems at the Charm Colorado campus, using engineering drawings and CAD/whiteboard concepts. Work safely in the fabrication shop with tools such as CNC plasma cutting, welding equipment, pipe threading, and a 3D printer. Collaborate with design engineers, operations, and procurement to ensure builds are inspected, documented, tracked in Jira/Confluence/Google tools, and delivered in line with design intent.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide written and verbal feedback to design engineers on equipment design and ways to simplify fabrication.
•Fabricate key pyrolysis equipment pieces from design details, including working from full drawings and sketching new concepts.
•Use and maintain shop tools while advocating for safety and best practices.
•Use Onshape to interface with design engineers and create/document novel designs.
•Collaborate across procurement and engineering on inventory/traceability and participate in quality inspection and reviews, recording work in Confluence/Jira/Google tools.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years hands-on fabrication, welding, hand tools, and mechanical assembly experience based on engineering designs.
•Interpret, redline, and implement work from technical drawings.
•High-quality MIG/TIG welding experience and proven skill with pipe/tube fitting and producing weldments.
•Comfort working with complex mechanical systems and troubleshooting autonomously on the job.
•Ability to operate or learn forklifts/telehandlers/scissor lifts, and meet physical requirements (climb, lift up to 50 pounds).
