Key Responsibilities

  • •Test, analyze, repair, maintain, and install electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for continued facility operation.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance on company equipment and material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors, Crisplant).
  • •Maintain, read, and use drawings/blueprints/schematics to assemble, troubleshoot, or repair machinery and equipment.
  • •Install and repair control components including solenoid air operated control valves, relayed controlled switchgear, solenoid controlled hydraulic valves, clutches, and brakes.
  • •Complete required paperwork (work orders, PMs) and operate facility vehicles/equipment while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Associates degree in mechanical or electrical technology or five years of related on-the-job experience (preferred).
  • •Strong electrical/electro-mechanical skills including wiring, motor hook-ups, and conveyor/chain/belt/sheave repairs.
  • •Ability to read and work from drawings, blueprints, and schematics to assemble, troubleshoot, or repair machinery and equipment.
  • •Ability to perform preventive maintenance and follow safety rules and ergonomic body mechanics; must meet physical requirements (lift ~60 lbs, mobility/standing, varying temperatures).
