Job Summary

Test, analyze, repair, maintain, and install electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep the facility running. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair machinery using blueprints and schematics, and install/repair control components such as solenoid valves, switchgear, and actuators. Operate, test, and maintain material-handling equipment and facility vehicles, complete required paperwork, and apply welding and machine shop skills as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventive maintenance on company equipment and ensure continued facility operation.
•Maintain, read, and use drawings/blueprints/schematics to assemble, troubleshoot, and repair machinery/equipment.
•Install and repair solenoid air-operated control valves, relayed-controlled switchgear, solenoid hydraulic valves, clutches, brakes, and related components.
•Use and operate tools and test equipment (meters, scopes, analyzers, power tools, machining tools) to test, repair, analyze, and maintain equipment.
•Operate and maintain material handling equipment and facility vehicles, and complete required paperwork (work orders, PMs) accurately.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience; an associate degree in mechanical or electrical technology is preferred (or 5 years related on-the-job experience).
•Strong proficiency in wiring, motor hook-ups, conveyor assembly, and mechanical repairs (chain/sprocket, belt/sheave).
•Ability to read and work from drawings, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot and repair machinery/equipment.
•Experience with electro-mechanical installations and repairs for solenoid air-operated control valves, switchgear, solenoid hydraulic valves, clutches, and brakes.
•Must follow safety rules/ergonomics and be able to lift ~60 lbs and work across different heights and temperatures.
