Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee assigned tool rooms and improve tool availability by strengthening processes, compliance, and preparedness for dynamic demand
  • •Partner with Supply leadership to guide aircraft tooling serviceability and availability prior to scheduled maintenance
  • •Coordinate compliance for assigned supply tool room locations, including kitting, and ensure legacy inventory system transactional compliance
  • •Collaborate with Material Planning Tooling, Supply leadership, MOS Engineering, Supplier Management, and Maintenance to resolve tooling issues affecting airline operations
  • •Monitor zero-stock conditions (defective tooling, AOG out of station, calibration shortages), escalate to Material Planning, resolve tooling discrepancies, and support tooling allocation requests, audits, and meetings

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • •2 years supply chain or aircraft maintenance operational experience
  • •2 years working knowledge of supply chain inventory systems (SCEPTRE) and A&P (airframe and power) experience
  • •Knowledge of line and base supply operations
  • •General knowledge of American Airlines GPM, IPC and AMM
