Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and engineering of telecom systems across the project lifecycle, primarily during detailed engineering.
  • •Manage and coordinate a team of telecom engineers and designers to deliver compliant telecom deliverables.
  • •Design and oversee implementation of telecom systems including fiber optic backbone, telephony (IP/PABX), data networks, radio communications, PAGA, CCTV/security, access control, and microwave/wireless communication.
  • •Develop and manage telecom engineering outputs such as telecom philosophies/design basis, architecture diagrams, network layouts/routing, equipment layouts, and cable schedules, aligned to schedule/cost/quality.
  • •Interface with client/licensors/EPC teams/vendors, review vendor documents/submittals, ensure standards compliance, and support construction/commissioning (RFIs, FAT/SAT, handover).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Telecom Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • •Minimum 15+ years’ experience working in telecoms for large Oil & Gas facilities across engineering execution.
  • •Experience delivering telecom EPC projects with complex, multi-vendor scopes in international settings.
  • •Competent to carry out Design-Check-Approve-Authorize cycle and check designer technical deliverables.
  • •Hands-on design expertise across telecom equipment/systems including fiber optic, IP networks, radio (OTN, UHF/VHF, TETRA), security (access control/CCTV), PAGA, and industrial wireless networks.
