Job Summary

Support the Raytheon UK Command and Staff Trainer (CAST) team by configuring ABACUS and Communication & Information Systems (CIS) to enable British Army exercises. You’ll integrate and configure systems to meet military training requirements, provide ABACUS data and user training, and help run day-to-day site IT operations. The role also covers remote support for networked CIS exercises across Warminster, Sennelager and other sites, plus scenario liaison and compliance with configuration and control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Configure ABACUS software for exercise use and provide ABACUS data for MOD military exercises.
•Configure and/or integrate individual systems to match military training requirements.
•Conduct system training so military users can competently run exercises.
•Support day-to-day site and IT operations activities, including engineering/operational/administrative CAST site duties.
•Support remote CIS exercises and provide coverage at relevant UK sites as required, including building scenarios with the military customer.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience with UK SC Security Clearance.
•Good working knowledge of Windows OS and LAN technology.
•Good knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016 and VMware.
•Experienced trainer with strong presentation and training skills.
•Physically fit for lifting as part of the role.
