Key Responsibilities

  • •Configure ABACUS software for exercise use and provide ABACUS data for MOD military exercises.
  • •Configure and/or integrate individual systems to match military training requirements.
  • •Conduct system training so military users can competently run exercises.
  • •Support day-to-day site and IT operations activities, including engineering/operational/administrative CAST site duties.
  • •Support remote CIS exercises and provide coverage at relevant UK sites as required, including building scenarios with the military customer.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience with UK SC Security Clearance.
  • •Good working knowledge of Windows OS and LAN technology.
  • •Good knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016 and VMware.
  • •Experienced trainer with strong presentation and training skills.
  • •Physically fit for lifting as part of the role.
