Job Summary

Build and deploy generative AI and foundation-model solutions for TikTok monetization and ads integrity. You’ll drive research across text generation/translation, multimodal understanding, and deepfake synthesis/detection, then translate findings into scalable, robust AIGC systems. Lead cross-functional work with product, engineering, and infrastructure, mentor researchers, and help set technical roadmaps aligned to business goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive generative AI and foundation-model research across text generation/translation, multimodal understanding, deepfake synthesis/detection, and efficient AIGC training/inference.
•Architect and deploy AIGC solutions for monetization ecosystems (ads, e-commerce, short video, live streaming), translating research into scalable, measurable systems.
•Engage and lead a high-performing team of researchers/engineers to advance large-scale model development, content understanding, and AI-driven productization.
•Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to productionize models with robustness, efficiency, and ethical AI practices.
•Shape research impact via patents, publications, and open-source contributions while tracking emerging trends to inform strategic investments.

Key Requirements

•PhD or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 5+ years of industry research experience (or equivalent).
•Deep expertise in AIGC algorithms (LLMs, diffusion models) with a record of scaling models from research to production.
•Strong background in NLP (text generation, RLHF) or multimodal learning (vision-language models).
•Proficiency in PyTorch/JAX plus distributed training and inference optimization such as quantization and model compression.
•Experience mentoring/collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and designing long-term technical roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
