Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop innovative solutions supporting Intel’s technology roadmap through scientific research and implementation activities.
  • •Drive design, simulation, development, and implementation for novel devices, packages, interconnects, circuits, and systems.
  • •Plan and execute experiments across fabrication sites in collaboration with cross-functional teams and benchmark results against industry standards.
  • •Conduct process and equipment research to enable device miniaturization and high-volume manufacturing, including lithography, etch, CVD, PVD, bonding, and CMP modules.
  • •Develop and validate models and measurements, manage vendor R&D collaborations, and mentor academic/industry partners.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Lead- or co-authored research publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and/or conferences.
  • •6+ months experience developing or maintaining deposition processes (more than one area preferred).
  • •Experience using multiple metrologies to drive process improvement and/or developing process hardware.
  • •Experience with project development in a team environment.
