Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete hands-on training and perform duties across the distribution center, including Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards for the sales center.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
  • •Provide a comprehensive presentation to senior level management at the end of the 6-month program, plus other assigned duties and special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or related discipline with a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role.
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results-driven self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead/develop a team with changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during/after the program (company expense) and ability to travel 25% of the time.
