Key Responsibilities

  • •Visit temporary relocation apartments regularly to assess and track conditions, renovation progress, and remaining work required.
  • •Develop, maintain, and report renovation schedules, identifying critical path activities and potential schedule risks.
  • •Coordinate NYCHA and program team stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and track apartments requiring renovation for temporary resident occupancy.
  • •Manage and coordinate the NYCHA Job Order Contract contractor, monitoring and reporting production status and ensuring safe, compliant delivery.
  • •Conduct QA inspections, prepare daily/weekly status reports and dashboards, and coordinate project closeout (punch lists, documentation, inspections, final approvals) prior to resident occupancy.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience/education.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • •10 years of project or program management oversight experience (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of procedures and regulations for removing hazardous materials such as lead-based paint, mold and asbestos (preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures, plus experience with project scheduling and cost estimating (preferred).
