Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and optimize supply chain systems by identifying gaps, performing root cause analyses, and implementing process improvements.
  • •Collaborate with Technology Development and Package Design teams to support technology sourcing initiatives.
  • •Work with Factory Module teams to troubleshoot materials-related issues supporting high volume manufacturing (HVM).
  • •Develop and execute material inspection methodologies to address variability and align with operational capability requirements.
  • •Define KPIs, monitor performance, implement supplier selection and alternate sourcing risk mitigation for single-sourced commodities, and lead supplier process improvements and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemical or Material Science (or closely related field).
  • •6+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.
  • •Proficiency in English and fluency in Japanese.
  • •Proficiency in data analytics tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, and database management systems.
  • •Solid understanding of quality and process control methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem-solving, plus experience driving supplier performance improvements.
