Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and conduct hardware environmental tests (vibration, mechanical shock, thermal, altitude, humidity, structural) and perform dynamic/thermal data analysis.
  • •Coordinate test fixture design and produce technical documentation including test plans, schedules, reports, and archival technical records.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical, financial, and scheduling goals for program commitments and compliance.
  • •Provide lab oversight to ensure compliance with Lab Operating Procedures (LOP), Foreign Object Elimination (FOE), Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) policies, and Access Management; manage lab property, tools, and metrology.
  • •Support audit preparation, manage engineering lab evaluations, implement corrective actions and long-range objectives, and consult with functional/program management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience in hardware or environmental testing, including dynamic shock/vibration and climatic and/or structural assessments.
  • •Experience developing Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) vibration and thermal profiles.
  • •Experience in one or more areas such as signal processing, data acquisition, field test instrumentation, or structural testing.
  • •Experience working in engineering lab environments with safety protocols/practices and 6S (housekeeping), plus compliance and/or property management.
