Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a global 50+ member Physical Design engineering organization, including direct and matrix reporting.
  • •Own end-to-end Physical Design execution for DDR/LPDDR PHY IP across multiple Intel product lines, covering floorplanning, power/placement/clock, timing closure, signal/power integrity, physical verification, and design signoff.
  • •Deliver high-speed PHY implementations targeting performance, power, area, and reliability metrics for leading-edge memory PHY solutions.
  • •Drive predictable execution across concurrent Client, Datacenter, and ASIC/Foundry programs, managing schedules, resources, risks, and milestones through tape-in and tape-out.
  • •Champion next-generation physical design methodologies, automation, and AI-assisted design flows, including BKMs and productivity improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 15+ years of industry experience; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • •18+ years of semiconductor design experience with significant leadership responsibility.
  • •Proven experience leading large-scale Physical Design organizations.
  • •Demonstrated success delivering high-speed PHY/SerDes/DDR/LPDDR (or complex mixed-signal IP) into production.
  • •Deep expertise in advanced-node physical implementation (Intel 18A/14A/2nm-class) and timing/power/signal integrity, physical verification, and design signoff methodologies.
