Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and contribute to high-profile WRMP projects across the UK within the Catchment Science team.
  • •Develop rainfall runoff models and apply model calibration techniques.
  • •Collaborate with other sectors/disciplines to deliver the hydrological aspects of a wide range of projects.
  • •Produce high-quality client and regulator-facing deliverables and concise reports.
  • •Stay informed on the latest UK water resources regulations and climate change resilience approaches.

Key Requirements

  • •A water-focused MSc (e.g. hydrology & water resources, sustainable water management) and BSc in related subject (e.g. physical geography, earth sciences, geology, civil engineering, etc.)
  • •You will have gained, or be working towards chartership with a relevant professional body
  • •Track record contributing to hydrological and water management elements and WRMP inputs in recent AMP cycles
  • •Experience in development of rainfall runoff models, together with a sound understanding of model calibration techniques
  • •Excellent communication skills and ability to write high quality concise reports
