Lead Visa’s Gateway Services organization that provides mission-critical connectivity and access into the Visa network. •Manage and lead a large, globally distributed engineering organization, including mentorship and succession planning.
•Implement, deploy, and support mission-critical gateway and access platforms at global scale with zero-downtime expectations and high cybersecurity.
•Lead long-term strategy and architecture for next-generation access and gateway systems aligned with VisaNet and OVN modernization.
•Use AI and automation to accelerate delivery and improve operational resilience, including defining and tracking AI metrics.
•Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Product, Client Services, and Risk & Compliance, representing Gateway Services and PPD at senior levels.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or 10+ years with an advanced degree, or 8+ years with a PhD).
•10+ years of software engineering management experience with progressively increasing scope, including leading cross-geographical teams.
•Deep expertise in mission-critical, high-availability platforms (15+ years preferred).
•Experience delivering large-scale, end-to-end platforms with budget ownership, capacity planning, and forecasting.
•Expertise in open systems with a strong security foundation (e.g., Linux, TCP/IP, Java, distributed systems).
