Job Summary

Support ground operations by building, installing, and troubleshooting ground support equipment used for liquid oxygen and fuel pad activities. Operate and fabricate equipment, coordinate with design engineers, and ensure materials meet Clean for Oxygen Service standards. Lead field execution and pre-/post-job reviews, coordinate with engineering and contractors, review work packages and drawings, and verify quality and engineering intent during engine and structural test stand programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide ground support equipment (GSE) technician support by building, installing, and troubleshooting equipment such as pumps, tanks, valves, and related plumbing for site facilities.
•Operate hardware and high-pressure systems and fabricate GSE hardware and equipment, including structural and engine test equipment.
•Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document GSE activities and streamline site-wide testing processes to improve reliability.
•Lead field execution of assigned projects by coordinating technicians and contractors and performing pre-job briefs, field walk downs, and post-job reviews.
•Review work packages, drawings, and procedures to identify execution risks and ensure contractor work meets SpaceX quality standards prior to turnover.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
•2+ years of professional industrial experience (e.g., installing pipe/components, bending stainless tubes, or working around high-pressure or mechanical systems).
•Experience coordinating work activities or leading small teams, contractors, or field projects.
•Mechanical aptitude and experience working with machines and general tooling, including hand and power tool usage.
•Knowledge of high-pressure systems and ability to work with hazardous environments (e.g., cryogenic, flammable, hypergolic, pyrophoric).
