Key Responsibilities

  • •Run client State & Local tax engagements end-to-end, including planning, executing, directing, completing, and managing to budget.
  • •Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns; perform in-charge role as needed and assess performance.
  • •Provide State & Local Tax services such as tax return preparation and review, tax research, technical memorandums, and drafting client correspondence.
  • •Review staff-prepared returns and recommend improvements for accuracy and potential tax savings opportunities.
  • •Conduct multi-disciplinary, multi-state reviews across income, franchise, sales and use, payroll, and other taxes to identify optimal filing options, exemptions, credits, incentives, and structures; respond to IRS/tax authority inquiries.
