Job Summary

Lead electrical technical delivery for data centre projects across the UK and preferably EMEA, owning design from feasibility through commissioning and handover. You’ll define and validate power architectures, run power systems studies and protection design (ETAP/SKM), and integrate monitoring and controls for availability objectives (Tier II–IV). Drive decarbonization and energy efficiency outcomes, ensure IEC/BS/EN and/or NEC/NFPA compliance, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, and mentor teams to win and deliver resilient, low‑carbon client work.

Key Responsibilities

•Own electrical design from feasibility, concept, scheme, and detailed design through procurement support, construction, commissioning, and handover.
•Define and validate power architectures, including utility intake, MV/LV distribution, UPS topologies, generators, switchgear, PDUs, STS, busway, earthing, and lighting.
•Lead power systems studies and protection design (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc-flash, harmonic analysis) using ETAP/SKM.
•Integrate monitoring and controls (BMS/EPMS/SCADA), metering strategies, and resilience features aligned to Tier II–IV availability objectives.
•Embed decarbonization and energy efficiency strategies and coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces to deliver integrated designs while ensuring standards/code compliance.

Key Requirements

•Hyperscale and/or multi-site program experience, including fast-track and design-build environments.
•Strong background delivering electrical project work across data centres and mission critical environments.
•Proven experience leading data centre project workstreams in the UK and preferably across EMEA.
•Client-facing and work-winning experience with demonstrated team leadership and development ability.
•Strong commercial acumen, including managing project financials, plus excellent written and verbal communication.
