Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, write, and review procedures integrating hardware, test engines, ground systems, and the launch vehicle.
  • •Perform test operations, including control room operations, and prepare sites and hardware for engine, ground system, flight hardware, and vehicle launch testing.
  • •Own projects to design, upgrade, build, and maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • •Prepare for and participate in readiness and failure/safety analyses; conduct design/test/operations readiness reviews.
  • •Review test data and make go/no-go calls on vehicle, test article, and GSE integrity; lead or contribute to anomaly resolutions and verify hardware closeouts for test or flight.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of industry, project, or research experience in test/launch operations, hardware design/development, or manufacturing.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related discipline).
  • •Ability to travel to support test and launch operations.
  • •Experience with technically focused hardware build and test of support equipment (mechanical, electrical, electronic, and/or fluids).
  • •Demonstrated experience generating and executing test plans.
