Job Summary

Lead the Sales & Success Data team’s analytical backbone for Canva’s B2B go-to-market. Coach four data scientists embedded in pre- and post-sales, owning pipeline generation, expansion and churn risk modeling, opportunity and account health scoring, and sales forecasting. Partner cross-functionally to shape the roadmap for GTM bets and build production-ready data products and semantic layers. Champion AI for self-serve analytics and automation, and translate insights into decision-ready narratives for QBRs and forecast reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Coach four data scientists owning the analytical backbone of B2B Sales and Customer Success, including pipeline generation to expansion and churn risk modeling.
•Set team priorities and roadmap in partnership with Sales, CS, Marketing, and RevOps leaders, balancing urgency and impact.
•Lead the analytical roadmap for major GTM bets, including pipe gen/full-funnel reporting, opportunity and account health scoring, and sales forecasting.
•Raise the bar on analytical craft by moving from ad-hoc analysis to productionized models, semantic layers, and durable data products.
•Champion the team’s use of AI to automate actions on signals and deliver self-serve analytics surfaces for commercial leaders, representing work in QBRs and forecast reviews.

Key Requirements

•Multiple years of data science or analytics experience in a B2B SaaS, growth, or GTM context, with experience coaching or leading others.
•Strong technical foundation in SQL (Snowflake or equivalent), data modeling (dbt or equivalent), and a modern BI tool (Mode, Looker, or similar).
•Track record shipping data products that materially changed Sales or CS operations (e.g., scoring, forecasting models, pipeline analytics, health scoring).
•Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and translate them into business decisions for senior commercial leaders.
•Genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping data and analytics work, paired with a coaching mindset for growing data scientists.
