Job Summary

Own AI operations and governance for the workplace AI ecosystem across all AI initiatives, acting as the central “post-dev-ops” function to keep AI tools reliable, compliant, secure, and continuously improving. Lead sustainment and lifecycle management, including license/entitlement optimization, model evaluations and drift monitoring, secrets and connector governance, auditability, and incident response. Build and lead the AI operations team while translating production insights into an executive-ready roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Operationalize and govern the workplace AI ecosystem across all AI initiatives, owning license and platform operations, AI governance, security posture, and AI tool lifecycle management.
•Evaluate, benchmark, fine-tune, and adjust ML and generative AI models in production; partner with data science and ML engineering on performance issues, drift, and retraining/reconfiguration needs.
•Maintain AI sustainment and governance including updates, vulnerability remediation, compliance with security policies, orchestration of model swaps/configuration changes, and post-deployment monitoring.
•Manage AI-related licenses and entitlements by monitoring usage, optimizing allocations, and partnering with Finance for cost visibility and optimization.
•Build and lead an AI operations team and define operational playbooks, SLAs, incident response procedures, and auditability frameworks (logging/traceability) for compliance and risk management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 280,000 - 420,000 annually

Key Requirements

•15+ years in platform operations, ML/AI operations, DevOps, or SaaS sustainment, including significant people-management leadership in high-stakes production environments.
•Direct, hands-on experience developing, training, fine-tuning, or evaluating machine learning models or generative AI systems (including LLMs).
•Working knowledge of AI/ML research practices and applying current research to production decision-making.
•Software engineering or data science background to engage deeply with technical teams on model behavior, integration issues, and system design tradeoffs.
•Experience operating AI platforms or orchestration tools (e.g., LLM providers, n8n, enterprise SaaS integrations) with organizational/strategic operational ownership.
