Job Summary

Perform skilled construction labor duties supporting concrete and paving work, including setting and cleaning concrete forms, pouring concrete, moving and leveling materials, and assisting with traffic control. Follow MSHA/OSHA/DOT safety rules and complete daily safety assignments and area inspections. Assist with grade staking and alignment tasks, signal equipment operators, and support loading/unloading and basic tool operation (e.g., air hammer and power saw).

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general laboring duties including shoveling, raking, moving materials, setting/cleaning concrete forms, and pouring concrete while maintaining housekeeping and safety.
•Adhere to MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply safety rules and complete daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA's, TRACK).
•Support grade setting and alignment by measuring from grade stakes, driving stakes, stretching tight line, and signaling construction equipment operators.
•Assist with traffic control setup by erecting, moving, and dismantling signs, barricades, cones, and supporting traffic flagging.
•Help load/unload/carry tools, operate equipment (e.g., pick-up/flat bed/stake body truck), and use tools like air hammer/chisel and power saw.

Key Requirements

•Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
•Must have a valid CDL class A or B and a current driver’s license.
•Able to work various times during day, night, or weekend hours, and at various locations.

•Flagger certification helpful; 1–3 years laboring experience preferred.
