Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain the perception and navigation software roadmap, including scope, sequencing, and feature priorities across key capabilities.
  • •Drive the technical definition of the perception stack, converting sensor inputs into scene understanding and world state for autonomy layers.
  • •Define evaluation metrics and field-testing regimes, including accuracy, latency budgets, and release success/regression criteria.
  • •Own requirements for perception data pipelines (collection, labeling, and field-deployment feedback loops) and lead safety-related requirements and failure-mode validation.
  • •Co-design within the compute envelope with sensing and compute teams and translate market and customer inputs into user-oriented product roadmaps and requirements for engineering.

Salary: USD 190,000 - 223,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of product management experience and a strong understanding of perception and navigation fundamentals (detection, tracking, localization, mapping, obstacle avoidance).
  • •Experience defining evaluation metrics, field-testing regimes, and performance tracking for autonomy or perception software.
  • •Field deployment experience bringing perception/autonomy software from lab to reliable real-world operation.
  • •Practical safety judgment around failure modes, validation coverage, and autonomy risks.
  • •Experience with autonomy/perception evaluation frameworks and large-scale field-test data analysis, including synthetic/simulation-generated data and data collection/labeling pipelines.
