Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide program management oversight and lead engineering efforts for rail transit systems and rail vehicle programs, including design, procurement, and maintenance.
  • •Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards while developing technical specifications, system designs, and detailed documentation for rail systems.
  • •Manage vehicle systems integration (including HVAC, electromechanical systems, friction brakes, and communications/control systems) and support integration meetings.
  • •Lead signaling and rolling stock systems commissioning and testing, including resolving integration, testing, and qualification issues.
  • •Supervise engineering teams, direct budget/cost/schedule/proposal preparation, and lead client/stakeholder relationships with technical consulting support.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Electrical, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering (or BA/BS) plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Expertise in rail systems design and integration across signaling, power distribution, train control, HVAC, and friction brakes.
  • •Experience with CBTC, PTC, ETCS, Ethernet transport, SCADA, and rail vehicle systems.
  • •Leadership experience managing teams and working with external stakeholders.
  • •Experience developing technical specifications, budgets, proposals, and schedules for large-scale projects.
