Develop and manage high-quality technical documentation that supports modernization of Air National Guard (ANG) IT infrastructure. Translate complex IT and engineering concepts for technical and non-technical audiences across more than 180 installations, coordinating with network, system admin, cybersecurity, architecture, logistics, and program teams. Write, edit, and maintain technical manuals, procedures, implementation guides, and related publications while gathering subject matter knowledge through interviews, research, and technical references.

Key Responsibilities

•Write, rewrite, and edit technical documents (e.g., procedure manuals, user manuals, service manuals, operational specifications) for multiple audiences.
•Acquire subject matter knowledge by interviewing product developers and reviewing technical specifications, network schematics, engineering illustrations, and operational views.
•Translate complex data into user-friendly text for print and electronic publications such as journals, manuals, proposals, websites, and podcasts.
•Gather information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff.
•Develop cataloging systems and maintain records, files, electronic media, and archiving of information for publications.

Salary: USD 110,000 - 120,000 annually
