Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver safe, progressive swimming lessons following Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • •Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction to babies and preschool swimmers.
  • •Maintain high standards of safety and customer service across leisure centres.
  • •Participate in ongoing training via the in-house Aquatic Training Academy and CPDs.
  • •Support personal and career development opportunities leading toward management or other roles within the business.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2 (formerly ASA Level 2).
  • •Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people of all ages/backgrounds.
  • •DBS check is required; DBS checks may be provided by employer.
  • •Willingness to complete safeguarding DBS checks if not already held; training may be provided.
  • •Ability to work flexible hours (various hours Mon-Sun) and across leisure centres as needed.
