Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently evaluate and structure lower complexity credit requests across cash flow lending, asset-based lending, term loans, and commercial real estate loans.
  • •Conduct independent credit analysis and risk assessment, preparing credit packages and presentations for credit administrators.
  • •Prepare financial models to forecast cash flows and stress-test debt service ability under economic scenarios, including analysis of key financial metrics.
  • •Monitor assigned credit relationships for covenant compliance, collateral quality/lien position, risk rating updates, and borrower financial health; proactively identify risks or signs of default.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and bank policies/procedures, and manage/support/coach/train employees (including interviewing/hiring and performance evaluations).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and/or related work experience; formal credit training and/or Intermediate/Financial Accounting 1 and 2 preferred.
  • •Proficiency in financial accounting and a strong understanding of lending, including cash flow and collateral analysis and loan structuring.
  • •Knowledge of and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations including Regulation Z, Regulation B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML/CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
  • •Working knowledge of the bank’s loan policies and standards.
  • •Advanced math skills and strong computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); IBS and Ncino are a plus.
