Key Responsibilities

  • •System optimisation — Work with engineering teams to improve performance, reduce downtime and drive technical improvements.
  • •Mechanical & electrical maintenance — Diagnose and repair faults using advanced tools and techniques.
  • •Safety & compliance — Ensure full adherence to LOTO, electrical safety and environmental standards, maintaining detailed CBM records.
  • •Infrastructure support — Maintain site utilities and electrical distribution systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • •Condition monitoring — Conduct vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound and other predictive maintenance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • •Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within FMCG, manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • •Hands-on CBM experience.
  • •Experience using CMMS systems.
  • •Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
