Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop VT design concepts and calculate lift specifications for efficient client solutions.
  • •Use lift traffic design software (Elevate), CAD, BIM, and Revit to support VT design and reporting.
  • •Produce technical reports to illustrate designs to the client and their representatives.
  • •Coordinate and attend meetings with the project design team, VT suppliers, and specialist subcontractors to ensure implementation.
  • •Liaise with local authority departments and relevant stakeholders to obtain approvals and coordinate with other discipline engineers (architectural, structural, telecoms, IT, mechanical and electrical) as applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •At least 8+ years of experience designing vertical transportation systems for diverse building types and sectors.
  • •Strong understanding of VT codes, standards, and local building regulations, with expertise in EN81 or EN115 codes and UK building codes.
  • •Ability to manage multiple projects, reviews, and deadlines while adapting to changing demands.
  • •Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.
