Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage day-to-day activities, priorities, and performance of the EHS construction safety team, including input into hiring and performance decisions
  • •Review and approve purchase orders and manage the operational budget for construction safety programs
  • •Develop and drive solutions to improve construction site safety, reduce incident rates, and ensure EHS policies are followed by direct reports, project teams, clients, and contractors
  • •Review and interpret construction-related safety laws and regulations and provide guidance to management
  • •Implement and maintain regulatory and site-specific occupational safety policies through inspections, audits, inspections, and contractor risk assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926)

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree
  • •4+ years leading environmental, health, and safety programs with an emphasis on construction safety operations
  • •3+ years of leadership experience
  • •Strong knowledge of interpreting, applying, and documenting federal, state, and local construction safety regulations (e.g., OSHA 1926)
  • •Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and travel to construction sites as needed
