Key Responsibilities

•Develop complete electrical system designs for lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and controls for commercial and industrial facilities.
•Prepare roof/ground/canopy photovoltaic system designs, including site layouts, single line diagrams, generation models, and interconnection applications.
•Produce construction-ready drawing packages (plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and specifications) using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM360.
•Perform engineering calculations (load analysis, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, conduit sizing, and energy efficiency assessments) and ensure code compliance (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, UL, IEC, UBC).
•Coordinate with architects, clients, utilities, and other disciplines; support site surveys, construction activities, commissioning, and the preparation of technical documents, permits, and as-builts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,900 - 189,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
•State-issued Professional Engineer (PE) license.
•7+ years of progressive electrical engineering design experience for building electrical systems and/or renewable energy projects.
•Proficiency with solar PV electrical design and modeling methods (e.g., production modeling, array layout, single-/three-line diagrams, glare/arc flash).
•Experience using electrical design/modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, PVcase, PVsyst, Helioscope, ETB).
