Key Responsibilities

  • •Support all aspects of day-to-day operation and maintenance of a generating station.
  • •Supervise and direct multi-skill production and maintenance support personnel to achieve reliable and safe operation of generating units.
  • •Ensure and monitor safety and environmental compliance, regulatory compliance, and documentation.
  • •Plan and schedule team tasks daily and plan outage tasks, coordinating with the mechanical supervisor.
  • •Interface frequently with vendors and contractors, and assist with special projects and emergency callouts/troubleshooting as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • •5-7 years of power generation plant experience required.
  • •Experience using Maximo for planning work, creating purchase requests, and creating job plans.
  • •Experience using WST, the preferred scheduling tool used by Luminant.
  • •Experience in operations and maintenance at a power plant, particularly control operator experience on a unit with a drum boiler is preferred.
