Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate PCB CAD layout designs and associated design data based on product and engineering requirements.
  • •Review completed PCB layouts and drawings for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and manufacturability.
  • •Conduct engineering and peer design reviews with engineering teams and manufacturing partners to meet engineering, cost, quality, and manufacturability needs.
  • •Plan and execute PCB design activities aligned with project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • •Release and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), technical drawings, and PCB CAD design data in Thales configuration management (Teamcenter) with QA compliance and production configuration control.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum 5 years of PCB layout and routing experience for mixed-signal, high-speed digital/analog, low-power, and high-current high-volume manufacturing (HDI, double-sided, multilayer, flex, rigid-flex).
  • •Proficiency with PCB/design tools including Allegro, OrCAD, Valor (DFM), and AutoCAD (2D), including creating PCB components and maintaining libraries.
  • •Knowledge of AutoCAD for fabrication and assembly drawings aligned to IPC and ASME standards, including IPC-600, IPC-610, IPC-6012, IPC-6013, and IPC-7351.
  • •Experience with PDM/configuration management tools such as Teamcenter, plus Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
