Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail solutions, and cross-sell to consumer and small business customers. Partner with business teams, support customer experience goals, and complete teller and platform staff responsibilities while following risk and ethical policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
•Support lending and bankcard processing, including originating sourced consumer loans through closing and assisting with Financial Center or Bank Mart opening/closing.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to handle sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions and registration required).
