Seasoned SRE lead responsible for end-to-end reliability, availability, and performance of a multi-cloud DBaaS platform. Drive SRE best practices, define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, lead incident response, and mentor a reliability-focused team while collaborating with product and engineering to improve platform operability, automation, and security across AWS, Azure, and GCP hosted workloads.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end reliability, availability, and performance of the DBaaS platform and define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs across databases
•Lead production incident response (P1/P2), RCAs, and long-term resilience improvements
•Drive error budget governance with Engineering and Product teams
•Bring hyperscaler-level operational patterns into the platform and implement automation-first operations
•Build unified observability and drive chaos testing, capacity forecasting, and platform hardening

Key Requirements

•10+ years of overall experience, 5+ years in SRE/Platform roles
•Hands-on experience with multi-cloud DBaaS platforms (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL MI, GCP Cloud SQL/AlloyDB)
•Strong scripting in Python/Bash/Go and use of IaC (Terraform/ARM/CloudFormation)
•Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and Kubernetes exposure
•Ability to lead incident response, define SLOs, and drive automation to improve reliability
