Job Summary

Own full-cycle, in-house payroll operations for 5,000+ employees across 45+ jurisdictions. Execute off-cycle payrolls, terminations, ACH rejections, and garnishment entries in Workday, while supporting managers and associates with timecard and discrepancy resolution. Validate earnings proof and audit reports, run deductions for benefits (401(k), HSA, FSA, parking, LTD), reconcile monthly vendor benefit invoices, and back up the Sr. Payroll Specialist as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Process complete employee payroll lifecycle in Workday, including off-cycle payrolls, state-mandated terminations, ACH rejections, and garnishment data entries.
•Provide first-line support to resolve unmatched, unsubmitted, or unapproved timecards for managers and associates.
•Validate earning proof and audit reports each cycle to verify incentive pay and unusual pay fluctuations.
•Run pay deductions per pay period to create payment uploads for 401(k), HSA, FSA, parking, and LTD.
•Reconcile monthly vendor benefit invoices for AP payment files and prioritize the Payroll Admin shared inbox as primary operational backup.

•Ability to maintain strict discretion while handling highly sensitive associate information.
