Job Summary

Lead global license applications for crypto and fintech, translating evolving regulatory requirements into concrete policies. Partner with Compliance to ensure audit-ready workflows, while briefing executives on SEC, CFTC, FCA, MAS developments and other regulatory updates. Strong communication in English and Chinese and proven ability to manage complex regulatory projects independently within a global fintech environment.

Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and project-manage applications for VASP, MiCA, MSB, and other regional financial licenses globally.
•Monitor, analyze, and brief the executive team on shifting global crypto regulations (e.g., SEC, CFTC, FCA, MAS developments).
•Partner closely with the Compliance team to translate regulatory requirements into concrete operational policies and audit-ready workflows.
•Hands-on at work and can be independent in managing complex projects whilst still working as part of a team.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer.
•Experience: at least 3 years of experience specializing in financial regulation.
•Deep knowledge of crypto regulatory frameworks, traditional fintech structures, or payment service laws.
•Exceptional relationship-building skills for interacting with regulators and a proactive approach to risk management.
•Great communication skills in English and Chinese.
