Job Summary

Drive a truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites and customers in the Pendleton area. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operate the truck safely and efficiently, and follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws. Maintain product quality, monitor gauges, handle basic operator maintenance/minor repairs, and communicate with the dispatcher while completing delivery paperwork and customer payments.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance or repair issues.
•Operate the ready-mix concrete truck to deliver concrete safely and efficiently to construction sites per dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•Add materials (e.g., fiber, color, or other additives) to the concrete mix and ensure delivered product quality (e.g., slump).
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher, check delivery tickets for special instructions, and complete required paperwork.
•Monitor gauges, investigate abnormalities, perform operator maintenance/minor field repairs, rinse equipment, and handle customer payments and service issues.

Key Requirements

•Current Class A or B CDL with self-certification of non-excepted interstate and a current DOT medical card.
•Ability to operate manual transmission.

•Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.
•Ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
