Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct deep-dive architectural reviews of high-spend services and provide code-level/infrastructure recommendations for cost optimization.
  • •Oversee scripts and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to implement governance guardrails and automate detection/remediation of cost leaks.
  • •Build cloud financial forecasting models, KPI frameworks (e.g., cost per tenant/transaction/AI request), and executive FinOps dashboards; partner with Finance and Engineering for monthly reviews.
  • •Lead Kubernetes FinOps initiatives for enterprise-scale clusters, optimizing utilization, autoscaling, spot/preemptible workloads, and GPU allocation with tenant-level cost attribution.
  • •Optimize GenAI/AI costs (token consumption, prompt efficiency, model selection, context window utilization) and design tenant-level metering plus showback/chargeback engines. “

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • •6+ years of experience in Cloud engineering, FinOps, or DevOps roles.
  • •3+ years in FinOps or cloud financial governance.
  • •Deep understanding of cloud billing models, pricing structures, and cost optimization strategies.
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, and FinOps tools like CloudHealth; strong skills in SQL, Python, and BI/visualization tools.
