Maintain safety and hygiene, complete required training (including allergen elimination and LOTO/BBP), and support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S to keep production ready for packaging quality products.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform plant cleaning per the Master Sanitation Schedule and maintain housekeeping throughout the plant.
•Operate powered cleaning equipment (e.g., power washers, foam applicators, steamers, automatic compactors) and safely operate sanitation tools.
•Disassemble and reassemble production equipment such as pumps, bucket elevators, slurry equipment, filters, and other processing components.
•Follow GMP and sanitation requirements, use PPE, and prepare/use chemical cleaning agents according to manufacturer recommendations and SDS.
•Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives (including 5S), handle spills and recyclables, and assist pest control by reporting pest activity.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Ability to perform plant cleaning per the Master Sanitation Schedule while maintaining housekeeping in all areas of the plant.
•Ability to operate powered cleaning equipment and safely use tools such as floor jacks, trash compactors, vacuum cleaners, and floor scrubbers.
•Knowledge of safe lifting/carrying practices; ability to identify and report defective equipment and job-related injuries.
•Ability to follow GMPs, OSHA-related safety and PPE requirements, and complete required training (e.g., allergen elimination, LOTO, BBP).
