Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and operations organization with 5-6 direct reports and responsibility across Accounting, Controlling, Billing, Payroll, Fleet/Operations, and Finance Systems.
  • •Own execution of financial reporting, accounting, governance, and controls across in-scope entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and actionable financial insights.
  • •Serve as senior controllership partner to Regional Controllership, GBS Finance, Tax, Legal, and executive stakeholders.
  • •Support finance transformation (Project Lighthouse), embedding Germany statutory, controls, ERP, consolidation, and operating model requirements into the roadmap and execution plans.
  • •Oversee reporting, governance, compliance activities including IFRS compliance, balance sheet governance, audit readiness/external audit coordination, and SOX compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in financial controllership, including experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent leadership role.
  • •Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • •Strong technical accounting expertise from a complex external audit and IFRS reporting environment.
  • •Proven experience in a complex multinational, multi-entity environment with strong governance and US SOX control requirements.
  • •Fluent German language skills (minimum C2 level) are mandatory.
