Key Responsibilities

  • •Review customer radar PCB layout and antenna design, and troubleshoot radar RF functional/performance issues.
  • •Test radar RF performance using instruments, troubleshoot issues, and tune/optimize to meet performance targets.
  • •Translate local automotive customer radar system requirements into TI radar device specs and highlight key advantages for better positioning in China.
  • •Map requirements into RF, memory, and processing specs for new device definitions with design teams to meet customer needs at optimal cost.
  • •Create technical literature (e.g., datasheets, application notes, user's guides, EVMs, spice models, SCMs) and support/train applications engineering and sales organizations on products.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5+ years of radar system and RF design experience.
  • •Strong understanding of radar analog front architecture and RF specs’ impact on system performance, including antenna design impact.
  • •Experience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
  • •Familiarity with using RF instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, target simulator, vector analyzer) and system-level circuit modeling with EDA tools (SPICE, HFSS, Matlab).
