Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and deliver secure, scalable public cloud solutions aligned with business needs and enterprise standards.
  • •Develop and maintain solution architecture for assigned projects, conforming to established EA standards and supporting technology advancements.
  • •Drive cloud automation and platform engineering, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, governance, and observability practices.
  • •Collaborate with IT teams to implement monitoring so level 1 & 2 incidents are configured within EMS.
  • •Manage changes and incident/problem resolution within agreed service levels, and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and deployment architecture.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • •5+ years working in related IT Engineering.
  • •Proficiency in managing and operating AWS and Azure cloud platforms with strong knowledge of security, governance, resilience, and FinOps.
  • •Experience operating large public cloud footprints and onboarding applications using governed, automated DevOps practices.
  • •Strong full-stack development and integration experience (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, APIs, React, Node.js), including REST APIs and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
