Job Summary

Operate presses and retrieve/inspect/prepare parts to customer specifications, ensuring correct machine adjustments, material requirements, and quality standards. Read job specifications, review product for inconsistencies, and perform routine maintenance. Communicate production issues with the next operator, notify supervisors of non-conforming product or machine/material problems, and grind parts/scrap as needed. Assist with machine setup and other tasks to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Retrieve, inspect, and prepare products/parts for shipment per operator instructions.
•Operate press equipment, inspect parts, and review products for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to meet quality requirements.
•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
•Notify supervisors of non-conforming product or machine/material problems; communicate production issues with the next press operator.
•Perform routine machine maintenance; use hand/power tools as needed and grind parts/scrap; assist with machine setup to meet deadlines.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one month of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
•Able to be certified for both Forklift and Crane within 6 months of employment.
•Able to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
•Able to work in hot, cold, and dusty environments.
