Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership, administration, governance, and optimization for enterprise clinical imaging systems (PACS, RIS, VNA, viewers, image exchange, and related applications).
  • •Establish imaging standards, operating procedures, governance controls, service expectations, and technology roadmaps aligned to clinical priorities and enterprise strategy.
  • •Oversee end-to-end imaging workflow analysis and optimization, covering modality worklists, reconciliation, hanging protocols, reporting, distribution, archiving, turnaround time, and diagnostic user experience.
  • •Manage integration and interoperability using DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE, and API-based connections between imaging platforms, modalities, EMR, clinical systems, reporting solutions, and patient portals.
  • •Lead implementation, testing, and change management for imaging projects; monitor reliability and resolve complex incidents while coordinating security, compliance, and business continuity (including DR and disaster recovery).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Medical Imaging, Radiologic Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in imaging informatics, PACS/RIS administration, clinical systems, healthcare information technology, or a related field.
  • •Minimum two (2) years in a senior imaging systems, lead consultant, solution architect, PACS administrator, or equivalent role within a complex healthcare environment.
  • •Demonstrated experience implementing, integrating, upgrading, migrating, and supporting enterprise PACS, RIS, VNA, diagnostic viewing, and imaging workflow solutions.
  • •Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE Radiology integration profiles, and clinical-system interoperability, including image lifecycle management and modality onboarding.
