Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and CarMax standards.
  • •Maintain accurate and compliant DOT logs and documentation.
  • •Load, secure, transport, and unload CarMax vehicles safely and efficiently, including hands-on freight handling and outdoor work.
  • •Move vehicles between CarMax locations, customer locations, and approved vendors using a company-provided truck while keeping equipment clean and operational.
  • •Deliver vehicles on time and provide an exceptional customer experience by following CarMax Standard Work and completing paperwork accurately.

Salary: USD 20.8 - 35.3 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Be 21 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • •Maintain a clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years per CarMax Driver Safety Evaluation criteria.
  • •Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds and secure/block/restrain vehicles during transport; perform repetitive tasks with load securement equipment.
  • •Be able to climb, bend, and kneel to access and secure vehicles on multi-level transport decks.
  • •Meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements, including possessing or obtaining a DOT Medical Card before starting.
