Job Summary

Build and operate secure registration, login, and account security experiences for Binance’s 300M+ users. Develop an in-house AI facial recognition KYC product, implement end-to-end authentication (passkeys/FIDO2, MFA, biometrics, verification flows), and own the MFA orchestration and security SDKs. Create high-concurrency frontend/backend services with Node.js (SSR, BFF) and collaborate cross-functionally to ship reliable improvements driven by funnel/event data.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain login, registration, and account security applications across web and mobile clients.
•Build an in-house AI facial recognition security product for KYC verification (liveness detection and face matching), replacing an existing third-party vendor.
•Implement end-to-end authentication capabilities including passkeys/FIDO2 (WebAuthn), authenticator apps, security keys, and biometric/verification flows.
•Own multi-factor authentication orchestration (verification strategy, step-up logic, user customization) and balance security vs completion rate with measurable outcomes.
•Develop server-side and BFF layers (Node.js SSR, auth guards, session validation/redirects, error-code aggregation) and drive engineering quality with testing and observability.

Key Requirements

•3–8 years of frontend or full stack engineering experience delivering consumer-facing products, from zero-to-one or long-term evolution.
•Strong web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, browser rendering, networking, caching, and performance optimization.
•Deep proficiency in React 18+ and TypeScript, including state management, data-fetching patterns, and complex multi-step form/flow orchestration.
•Production Node.js experience with server-side rendering/isomorphic apps, BFF layering, API aggregation/caching, and debugging server-side runtime issues.
•Experience modeling complex authentication/verification flows into testable, reusable abstractions instead of nested conditionals.
